2026年八月的两场比赛：用努力，为国庆日写下精彩一页Two Days, Two Competitions, 29 Young Competitors

八月的最后一个周末，我们带着一群充满活力的小选手，来到吉隆坡，展开了一趟特别的比赛之旅！8月28日与29日，两天时间、两场比赛、29位参赛者。这一次，我们分别参加了：
🏆 龍燕杯珠心算比赛🏆 STEM荣耀杯珠心算与数学比赛。刚好两场比赛都安排在国庆日前夕，也让这趟比赛之旅，多了一点属于八月的特别气氛。On the last weekend of August, we brought a group of energetic young competitors to Kuala Lumpur for a very special competition journey! 28th and 29th August — two days, two competitions, and 29 competitors. This time, our students took part in: Long Yan Cup Abacus Mental Arithmetic Competition and STEM Honour Cup Abacus Mental Arithmetic & Mathematics Competition. With both competitions taking place just before Merdeka Day, the trip carried an extra special August atmosphere, making it a meaningful way for our students to celebrate the National Day season.
29位选手从不同的训练与准备中集合到一起，带着平时课堂上的练习成果，正式踏上比赛的舞台。有人已经是比赛“老手”，面对赛场相对淡定；也有孩子是第一次参加这样的比赛，多少都会有一点紧张。但不管是紧张还是期待，大家最后都坐进了自己的比赛位置。Our 29 competitors came together after weeks of preparation and training, bringing with them the skills and knowledge they had developed during their regular lessons.
Some were already familiar with the competition environment and remained relatively calm and confident, while others were taking part in a competition like this for the very first time and naturally felt a little nervous. But whether they were feeling nervous or excited, everyone eventually took their place at the competition table and got ready to give it their best.
真正困难的，往往不只是“会不会算”，而是能不能在比赛的压力下保持冷静，把自己平时的水平发挥出来。而我们的孩子们，这一次真的表现得很棒！经过一轮轮的计算与挑战，大家都完成了属于自己的比赛。看着孩子们拿着奖牌和奖状的笑脸，相信现场陪伴的家长们，也一定觉得所有的奔波和等待都是值得的。The real challenge was often not simply “Can I calculate?”, but whether they could remain calm under competition pressure and perform at the level they had achieved during their training. And our students truly did a wonderful job!
After round upon round of calculations and challenges, everyone completed their respective competitions. Seeing the smiles on our students' faces as they held their medals and certificates was certainly a rewarding moment. We believe the parents who were there to accompany them must have felt that all the travelling, waiting and effort were worthwhile too.

一场比赛的背后，从来不只是孩子坐在赛场上的那几个小时。还有赛前的练习、准备、交通安排，以及比赛当天家长们一路的陪伴。特别感谢爸爸妈妈们对孩子的支持，也谢谢大家愿意花时间陪伴孩子参加这两场比赛。从出发到回程，从等待比赛到等待成绩，每一个环节，都少不了家长们的参与。正因为有大家一起配合，孩子们才能够安心地完成这趟比赛旅程。Behind every competition, there is so much more than the few hours a child spends sitting at the competition table. There are the practices and preparations beforehand, the travelling arrangements, and, of course, the parents who accompany and support their children throughout the competition day. A special thank you to all our parents for your continuous support, and for taking the time to accompany your children throughout these two competitions. From the moment we set off until we returned home, from waiting for the competition to waiting for the results, every part of the journey was made more meaningful because of your support and involvement. It is because everyone worked together that our students could take part in this competition journey with confidence and peace of mind.
恭喜每一位参赛的小选手！不管这一次站上了哪个领奖台，我们都为你们感到骄傲。比赛结束，不代表学习结束。接下来，继续练习、继续进步、继续挑战下一个目标！Congratulations to every one of our young competitors! No matter which podium you stood on this time, we are proud of every single one of you. And remember — the end of a competition does not mean the end of learning. Keep practicing! Keep improving! Keep challenging yourself towards the next goal!
